    My ProChrono worked

with my air gun. You just have to find the Just Right Light for it to work with my .177 cal. pellets.

Was it a grand? I had some gift cards from work that I used, so it might well have been I guess, since they were always a little rich for my blood and I justified it somehow. That whole year is kind of a blur to be honest.

You have to be diligent. I just went site to site until I found one in stock. Ordered it and had to call a couple of times before they acknowledged they charged my card and had it in stock. Arrived a few days later. I also got the carrying case and short tripod. You can use a USB battery pack to power it and you should because it eats alkaline batteries pretty quickly.

And some of us have done both.

The "sight" is a $20 piece of plastic that's easier to line up than the notch is all. I didn't bother with the case (I have a ton of those Ridgid briefcases) and AFAIK you could use any USB battery like an Anker or Limewire or whatever. I didn't buy a special one, my wife must have 5 or 6 laying about.

On the chrony the rod helps flex the plastic screen, so the rods would need to be stiff enough to do that.
I find that if I don't fully seat the rods into the slots the plastic screen will pop the and fling them a distance.

It's OK dude, every time a chrono gets shot, a former gunsmith gets his wings.

It could have been the light. My old chrono picks up everything that flys across it, even airsoft.

If you don't get a reading, remove or add the light diffuser. Or try different lighting if you can
