NV isn't practical IMO. Where and when will you actually use it? And in order to use it in a way that wouldn't be frustrating, you have invest a lot of hours in training. This is why I ditched mine.

NH gets you more day to day enjoyment.

I do find myself thinking the same, and I was convinced on the Nighthawk till I saw the sale on JRHEnterprise. That got me thinking them again.

A Nighthawk is just a gun, a nice gun but still just a gun. You probably have other guns. But a PVS-14 is a life changing experience. Do it.

My nightvision purchase certainly changed my life more than my Nighthawk did. Hell I sold my Nighthawk!

I’d do the NHC, and save up for what will likely be better NV tech down the road. Good firearms appreciate in value; most electronic tech stuff doesn't, and is usually outdated within a few years. I see the whole boat of NV stuff going that way. Think of that state of the art 8-track player in your old truck, or the ancient Teac that’s long worn out, or that gigantic t.v. that you bought for the big game, that weighs five hundred pounds, and can’t even be given away for free.
