"A report by the South Florida Sun Sentinel suggests Florida is on track to become the 22nd constitutional carry state.
Constitutional carry is a “priority” for the Republican-led Florida legislature, the Sentinel reported.
Rep. Anthony Sabatini (R) has already introduced legislation to do away with the concealed carry permit requirement for Floridians. Open carry without a permit would also be legalized by Sabatini’s bill."

I am thinking the open carry provision might get (hopefully) democrats to leave Florida for greener pastures .

The theory is criminals who prey on unarmed citizens do not need a permit. Florida believes we should not require one either.

Why SCOTUS has allowed them to be bastardized is fraught with peril. The more states that return to a Constitutional premise, the more secure the democracy becomes.

Its a phrase always used by democrats that reflects Hollywood western movie's where towns are shot up daily by gunslingers.

Of course you are correct that there was respect and shootouts were very rare .

I dream of the day that California follows suit with this, at least in Alameda county, it is EXTREMELY hard to get a CCW. I remember watching a video of an interview with the head of the sheriff's department saying that you needed a million dollar insurance policy to carry, basically either that or be a big time donator or contributor.

Florida has more registered Republicans that democrats for the 1st time .
Am I saying every person who values RKBA should be a Registered Republican ?
