Steyr Aug owners, yea or nay

I’m getting the itch for something different in a semi-auto rifle.
I’m looking hard at the Steyr Aug
Is the Steyr Aug something to get?

Aug owners, tell me about the AUG
I have Colt, Larue, FN FAL, HK 308’s
    LWRC 6.8
    BCM 5.56
    RUGER 6.8 and 7.62
Do I need a bull pup 5.56 just for the duck of it?

I think it's pretty cool, but it's very difficult to swap if you are left handed. The trigger isn't as bad as some people make it out to be. Take a look at the M3 version because it takes STANAG type mags. I know people that have a lot of issues with the Microtech version, so do your homework.

I’ve shot my friend’s AUG regularly for several years. It’s a great gun, very accurate. He’s LEO so doesn’t need the grip fin. I imagine a grip fin on it would suck. If I were in a free state I’d definitely get one. I personally chose an

The AUG is what every other bullpup has both aspired and failed to be.

I would love an AUG. I will not own a neutered one in CA though.

Never shot an Aug but the tavor I had a long time ago was fun to shoot liked it better than an ar, but having to keep the long muzzle break on it kinda sucked

Never owned an AUG but have shot it. Hated it. Terrible trigger and balance sucked, way too light in the muzzle.

While the balance is unusual, the muzzle climb is very slight. There are some mods to improve the trigger pull, but it is useable as is. I actually prefer the proprietary AUG mag over AR15 mags, but it is a problem in California obviously.

An Aug Is one of my most wanted firearms. Ever since I saw Diehard I wanted one. One chambered in 556 would be divine.
