    found on http://www.fabten.com/

it's right next to the "california legal oll" ad. I'm hoping they aren't confusing some poor californians...

They are. This has been brought up a lot here; especially by noobs who thought they figured something out and then try to argue the legality of it.

Actually nothing as its not meant for the rifles of the PRC its meant for 1994 banned rifles.

      Hence the BATF approval.

Actually it is completely wrong, since it suggests that the 1994 ban allowed you to add a flash hider, collapsable stock and bayonet lug if just the pistol grip was removed, whgich is false.

I guess you get what you pay for, and a whacky webmaster with poor understanding of the law (federal and californian) is what they ended with.

The obvious answer is the lack of trigger discipline.

The Barret grip isn't long enough to wrap the other four digits around, plus it is specifically approved by CA DOJ, not just ATF.

The above pictured grip allows a grip where the web of the thumb can be below the imaginary line of the "action" of the firearm, and also allows a awkward, albiet pistol grip with the other four digits, hence why it is not CA DOJ approved, nor would I get one in expectation of it being defensible.
