PSA - Check your mags (error Status Quo)

Took some out of the range bag just in case. Will have these taken apart and saved until SCOTUS hears the case. Saves on ammo anyway...

I don't think anyone here has evil mags but thanks for the tip.

      Why

Have things changed since early this morning?

I was watching a video early this morning. Rick Travis from CPRA was saying that nothing has changed. We can still use standard mags.

Sorry, I thought that if the ban on high capacity magazines are upheld then we can't use them. I'm not going to the range in a week or twos so might as well be on the safe side.

There is still a lot that has to transpire before anything changes for better or worse. Status quo for now on the injunction against enforcement, until you hear from a court otherwise.

If you watch yesterday's GunGuy TV on YouTube, go to 13mins+ and Travis explains it pretty well.

Judge Benitez did more for us then we thought.

Turn in your guns while you're at it just to be safe.

Will taking apart even spare you? Wouldn't we be in violation of the "parts kit" PC? I'm too lazy to look it up, is that only for selling, expose, offer for sale, etc and not possession of parts, or are parts included?

Wait, do they punish crime in CA?

I read the thread title to mean: " Check your mags from Palmetto State Armory (PSA) as they are mistakenly sending high-capacity magazines to California. "

It happens. Ask me how I know.

But it's a sad day that comes when Calgunners are not only too eager to comply, jumping the gun, but also doing that by documenting it with photos installed in brag-threads about doing so.

                            We can do better.

If some level of government had that information, what would they do with it? How would having that info benefit public safety? How would it benefit law enforcement?

                              I can't say I disagree.

Lots of pro-gun folks are also pro law & order, striving to be compliant with the law. That's why it's so upsetting when tyrants bastardize and manipulate the law to target us.

CA is getting to the point where one can't go a day without breaking some minor and ridiculously frivolous law. Meanwhile our overlords are letting people who break the important laws and prey on the rest of us go free with a slap on the wrist at most in many cases.

When something bad happens and it makes the news, the first proposed solution in CA is always more laws, even if they're redundant to the laws that already didn't prevent bad people from doing bad things.

I want less laws, more guns, DAs who prosecute, and elected officials who take their oath of office seriously.
