    Walther G22 Rifle

Anybody know about the Walther G22 .22LR Rifle? It's a sweet little package! I'm thinking hard of picking one up.

I looked at one at contra costa collectibles the other day. I am 6' 03" and it was real small for me. I would like one for my son. It seemed to be of supeior quality and the balance was excellent. My brother was going to buy one till he shouldered it. He is 6' 05", he liked it because he is a lefty and everything is ambi friendly. I think they are nice and everything I read has been positive.

Good! They are PRK legal. There was one here in Virginia for $350. I think I can order one when I get back home. Does that price seem high?

I read somewhere that one should be careful firing it if it isn't reconfigured for left-handers (if you're a lefty) because the bolt handle will come straight back into your face.

Looked at one and handled it at Reed's, looks pretty cool. I wouldn't mind getting one either.

I'm 6'3" as well. It didn't feel to small to me. But that just might be because I've accepted that any .22 rifle is going to feel like a toy in my hands. At least it wasn't uncomfortable to hold. I believe there are some extensions for it to add a little length as well.

I've got one. It's a fun shooter. Mine is the Olive Drab model. I've got an ATN Ultra Sight red dot on it and it's a tack driver. I call it my squirrel assault rifle. You can change it from RH to LH or can order it either way. It comes with 3 different thickness spacers for the butt. You can double some up to make it longer. Everyone who has shot it liked it. A typical comment I get is........it doesn't feel like a toy.
I also tell them that I could paint the muzzle orange and walk down the street with it.
