Is WBT being unusually slow?

I have a rifle on order from WBT and it's been I think 7 weeks or so since I ordered.
No word yet on anything.

Not knowing what you ordered or how you ordered it: if it's been over a month I would email them. They have been very responsive and I usually get a reply the same day, at most the next.

My most recent order took about a week from placing the order to them emailing me to come in to start DROS. It was just a standard shotgun that was available on their website when I ordered it and required no compliance work.

I’ve ordered a couple pistols and a rifle from them before and each was shipped within a week depending on the day I placed the order. Now if you are waiting on a Galil ACE like I am or something that has to be converted to CA compliant...your wait could be months. It clearly stated on their website what to expect. Just be patient and you’ll have your rifle...they are a legit business and not out to burn anybody. Hope this helps put your mind at ease...enjoy the holidays.
