??. Yes we do. The law as written says all 10+ magazines are illegal to possess, period. No grandfather, no registration. (though exemptions for LEO etc.). The 9th Circuit just agreed the law is good as it is written. If the SC overturns it, then the whole law is removed and irrelevant. It's really only one or the other.

I gotta respectfully disagree. The ship is not "going down." The ship is setting a new course for the Supreme Court. And we pretty much knew that was going to be the outcome all along.

We also have an apparent new development that may prove helpful in the Supreme Court. The NYSPRA v Bruen case was recently argued before the Court. A lot of the Justice's questions seemed to question the use of Intermediate Scrutiny in that case. If their decision finds that Strict Scrutiny is the required standard for review of Second Amendment cases, then look for Duncan (as well as other similar cases) to be quickly disposed of at the Supreme Court.

The process of "Grant, Vacate, and Remand (GVR)" is often used to quickly dispose of cases that were pending when the Supreme Court decides a related case. Rather than give the pending cases the full treatment, the Court grants a hearing, vacates the lower court decision, and remands the case for handling per the prior decision. It's kinda a legal way of saying "Ditto."

    And don't forget the bitter
Or maybe I can't believe it's not bitter....

For those who may be thinking that sandpaper works well on plastic. Please consider this:

A felony is a crime with a possible jail term exceeding 1 year.
    32310.
    (c) Except as provided in Article 2 (commencing with Section 32400) of this chapter and in Chapter 1 (commencing with Section 17700) of Division 2 of Title 2, commencing July 1, 2017, any person in this state who possesses any large-capacity magazine, regardless of the date the magazine was acquired, is guilty of an infraction punishable by a fine not to exceed one hundred dollars ($100) per large-capacity magazine, or is guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by a fine not to exceed one hundred dollars ($100) per large-capacity magazine, by imprisonment in a county jail not to exceed one year, or by both that fine and imprisonment.
If you are going to make up FUD, at least research it a little before you spew it.

Best to fly under the radar here. Or play wack-a-mole?

I guess we finally get to see if the SC can live up to the expectations we have for it.
