Gotta be there at open. It's clear that you were on the very tail end of the first wave of 6. That's the worst!

This will be the first time I am heading to a Sportsman for a new gun DROS and then pick up. Going to murrieta. hopefully it is not a nightmare.

it's a hit or miss. my experience is more on ammo ffl processing. i've purchased where i'm done in 10 mins... guns and fishing dublin (out of desperation for 12ga) is my fastest experience even if it's the old grump everyone here local to dublin/tri-valley talks about. i mean literally, we were done in probably 5 mins but i had everything ready and the cases was just behind him.

Sounds like a fluke lol. Every time I've gone its been 45 mins to an hour+ and that's with me having all the current and proper documents I need

My purchases at the Fresno store were slow. I have had 2 quick ones and 1 slow DROS at the Visalia store.

Twice bought guns at the Rocklin store. Almost 5 hours combined for DROS and pickup between the two transactions. Seemed like every time I signed the paperwork, someone had to double check it, then another person had to double check the double checker. And usually the double checker was busy double checking something else or on break.

No problem at the Bentwood(contra costa) store. About 25 min from when I walked in till I walked out. Stay away from ammo day which is Thursday in my area or there will be a line.

Not for me. 2hrs for DROS at Corona. Consider it takes me 1hr travel time one way. It will be the last time I purchase any thing from them.

I have had nothing but positive experiences at sportsmans warehouse. Good products and helpful staff. I used to go to the fremont/milpitas location until it shut down. Now I gotta make the drive all the way out to brentwood

The Brentwood store is pretty quick if you go on a weekday late morning to early afternoon. I've had pretty quick experiences there both times.

came by to pick up an online order and get a few more target loads. they were actually efficient - one to get the ammo from the shelf while the other processes the paperwork. i was aghast when they said the online pick up was on the other side after spending maybe 1 hr waiting (i was maybe 7th once i got there 18 mins from opening). good thing no biggie and the guy who was getting the ammo from shelves spent 5-8 mins looking for a single box in the back. out in a jiffy.

i should remember to bring my little chair next time. my back was getting sore from all the standing.

It’s been my experience that quite a few small gun stores tend to be ran by people with absolutely horrible customer service, attitudinal, you’re wasting my time, know it all employees or owners. I would much prefer to shop mom and pop stores but I also would like to be treated like a valued customer not a leper. The business that gets my money is one that treats me like a person. I’m not expecting red carpet treatment but at least lose the attitude

I went to sportsman warehouse. About the only “complaint” and I wouldn’t call it that would be that there was a long wait. But it’s a weekend and right now….long waits are common. Just expect it adjust accordingly avd deal with it. The DROS was fast and organized. I got no complaints. I ended up getting a camp chair and sitting on that. My back was killing me after standing for hours waiting.
