    Good Budget Borescope?

    Hello,
Not sure if this is the correct forum for this question but I'm a collector and recently acquired an old Enfield rifle, and for the life of me can't figure out what's going on inside the bore no matter how well I clean it so I want to get a borescope.

Was hoping I could get some recommendations from experienced users of what would be a good borescope I could get for under $100-200. Also any brands that I should stay away from and opinions on rigid vs. flexible cables. Thanks.

I bought a cheap endoscope off of Amazon a few years ago for under $20. It connects to my phone.

Here are examples of pics I took.

the teslong works well for the price, with the mirror tip.

Agreed. Does as good (or better) a job as the $200ish Lyman scope, with the option of using any Android or PC display device capable of accepting a camera.

The only problem is if you are an Apple guy. Their wired devices are not Apple compatible (but their wireless devices are, for a bit more money.)

Edit to add: The Teslong now comes with a zipper sort of molded foam case (price hasn't changed, as far as I know.) Nice addition, as the semi-rigid model is unwieldly to store.

I just bought this one and don't like it. The resolution is too low everything in the barrel washes out to gray. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B09F335P...roduct_details. I previously had this one it worked good when I had it hooked up to my PC but I could not take it out to the garage due to no wifi there. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B09F335P...roduct_details
