    Charlie’s custom clones?

Has anyone here used them? Getting a lot of mixed reviews online. Looking into ordering a couple small things from them, but would like some feedback before I do. Thanks

Ive used them for small parts I couldn't find anywhere else when I was doing my mk12 clone build. Price wise they are higher then most and shipping took them about a week. Ive heard/read of some horror stories but thankfully my experience was decent. Granted I wasn't buying a full rifle/upper from them which most of those stories seem to stem from.

yeah, most of the horror stories ive read were from complete uppers and rifles as well. The parts im looking at are actually a couple bucks cheaper than Brownells and from the companies themselves. Ive had the items in my cart for a day, and just got an email for $10 bucks off. Maybe ill give them a shot.

Turners has stock because no one wants to wait all day. Charlie's has stock because no one wants to pay their prices.

But if you've got money to burn they've got rare parts

I purchased a high end rifle from them (~$7k) for a bit of a premium since they are one of only a handful of US distributors for the company and had exactly what I wanted in stock instead of waiting for a rifle to be built. No problems. They can get very busy though. Guy responded to emails and even returned a call during holidays (on Thanksgiving Day 2020 as I recall) and at night.

Careful, if they are low on stock of a desirable item, they may oversell it, and string you along and then send you a "just as guud" substitute.
