    False Wall Ammo Find

A friend asks me this past weekend if he can use my truck to go to the dump.
He owns/rents a section-8 house in Shore Acres (West Pittsburg) and needed to clean out a bunch of crap the sub humans he was renting to left behind when they trashed the place. I told him I'd go along and give him a hand. He wanted this roach of a garage work bench gone also. He's in the back yard gathering chit, and I'm hammering out this bench in the garage. I bust it out, saw it up, and truck it. The sheet rock on the wall looks funny where it was de-bench. Much to my suprise I finds a pot-o-gold in them there walls.
My friend does not own any surplus arms so he asks if I can take it off of his hands for "Nada" for the use of Mr. Truck.

Good find. Why would someone need to hide ammo in a false wall

There is so much hidden stuff from the last 100 years that they would never find it all , no matter what laws were passed or how hard they looked .

What condition is the ammo in? The boxes look a little worn, and those metal straps are rusted up pretty well.

I'd imagine that a false wall in the garage isn't the best place to store ammo in order to keep it in good condition.

Looks pristine wrapped in wax paper. 1975 production - Lacquer coated cases work for me. I'm not going to worry about it for the price I got it for.
