    New resident firearm registration form

Has anyone submitted this form recently and have a rough timeline they can provide on how long the process is currently taking? Fyi I mailed mine before knowing I could submit online

Weeks to months; first significant event is cashing your check.

It is not illegal to possess or use guns not registered. And since you did submit the registration, you're ok on that front.

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!

I wanted to put it on my ccw qualification but figured I shouldn't until the process is done. Don't want anything to slow it down

Does your issuing agency require that? The state does not, but IAs have a lot of leeway.
