It almost looks fake, would like to know more about what exactly happened and where this was.

When that guy pointed a gun at that marine, the marine's heart rate went up from 57 bpm to 59 bpm.

          As requested

          -- snip--

One of the suspects was armed and came in close contact with the man. The video then shows the man instantly disarm the suspect, knocking him to the ground.

The sheriff's office said the former Marine helped detain him until deputies arrived to the scene. Two other suspects got away and remain on the run.

            Lucky bastard.
You have gun buy the barrel - two other bad guys bail

Either other bad guy could have done X while you are punching and disarming the 1st guy.

            Glad it worked out

                    Happened in Yuma County, Arizona
Here is the Faux News link.
A U.S. Marine Corps veteran who foiled an attempted robbery at a gas station in Yuma County, Arizona, on Wednesday told deputies that the Marine Corps "taught me not to [mess] around.”

Did you see a second firearm anywhere? I didn't. I just saw a vet disarm a gun-wielding punk.

Disarmed him like a boss. Each situation is different, and some scenarios present themselves and their details quickly. That Marine was able to assess and defend in less than two seconds of scrutiny.

As soon as the muzzle cleared him he acted, like a boss!

Then the muzzle went back to him. Or could have swept the store. He's just lucky he had some training and other weren't armed or willing to kill.

The perp had no doubt used this technique before and was extremely comfortable with his protocol.

He will learn from this and be back within a year or 2, better trained and more competent for his next attack.
