Silver bear ammo any better then Wolf?

Looking to buy a case of 223 for plunking. not looking for an ammo to group but just for cans and bottles. Because the Silver Bear stuff is nickel plated my chamber should stay clean and gunk free. But what about my extractor? How hard are the rims on those cases? Is it worth just buying another extractor every 2000 rounds? XM193 is just getting hard to find and the price is way to high. Looking for some ammo I can shoot until the war is over the prices go down.

BTW, did a search and found nothing good and the arf.com 30 day search is a joke.

Why are you worried about an extractor?
(Assuming this is an AR).

Extractors are $5 parts that take 2 mins to install. They wear anyway, but 2000 rounds is a low number; I'd think 5000+ rounds is nearer. Inspection is the key; you should be inspecting your bolt assy (including cam pin!) every 500-1K rounds when cleaning.

It's a no-brainer financial decision - $110/case Wolf, Silver Bear, etc. 223 + a $5 extractor vs. $150-$185/case brass ammo.
