    Sterling shotgun shells?

Just another foreign ammo maker that the only reason they're being noticed is they're available?

    Yeah, but they're available!

What do you folks know about Sterling buckshot and slugs? I either can't find the usual names, or they're priced at a small fortune.

I've never had a bad batch of foreign shells

For practice ammo I'd have no issue with it
Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT
    (thanks to Jeff Cooper)

I've since found quite a bit of shotgun ammo online. There are lots of slugs and buckshot. I had no idea the supply situation had improved this much. I found Black Aces with good reviews, and Rio, which the locals really like for practice, for cheap.

I bought 12 boxes of sterling 00 2 3/4” for $5 a box (10 round boxes). It runs fine in my m3k. Then again everything runs fine in it. Sterling is made in Turkey and the name is marketing because the UK is their primary market (per the interwebs).

I worked at a police academy for 8.5 years. This is only relevant because cadets are poor and shoot a lot so you get to see a lot of oddball brands. Wolf and Rio buckshot were very popular, they all ran fine and made mountains of spent shells out of old beat down 870’s.

Buying a safe and sane firework is like paying a hooker for a hug. I do not see the appeal in it.
