Juggernaut HF + Mag Lock + Bolt Catch paddle

Ok, I'm into my 1st AR and looking to get the Juggernaut HF kit inconjunction with a MagLock Gen 4 so I can lock the bolt and clear any problems malfunctions. (Looks like I need to also get a bolt catch kit as it doesn't have one.

Am I in the right direction with this setup or should I try something else?

You're forgetting featureless, less money spent, more reliable setup. Maximum mag change speed and fastest jam clearing.

I have what looks like an earlier version of the juggernaught HF kit. I do not like it. It does what it was designed to do but at the loss of your bolt catch. It is not easy to fully disassemble.

I'm looking at the Maglock gen4 + kingpin to get the catch back in form.

This is what I was referring to also - there's a good video on YT that shows just this. According to the video it is CA legal..he can lock the bolt back in conjunction with the use the Juggernaut HF kit and MagLock Gen 2..

Yes, the kingpin does work, i have one on a pistol build, but not as good as a regular bolt catch and mag button. It also gets in the way of the safety for right handers.
