How busy is Sportman's in Corona??

Planning to go there for DROS.

When is the best time and day to go there for DROS? Planning to go there in the morning.

How long for the average wait?

Does it need an appointment? Or a ticket to wait for the line?

Don't let the older woman help you on dros.

In the middle of my dros, she helped out a customer who didn't stand in line. And when he asked about a rimfire revolver, which was the one I was drosing, she started dry-firing my gun to show him.

    btch.

You should have asked her to stop using your gun as an example.

How was the wait time? When?

My good friend recently got a pistol there, after the experience he bought another pistol somewhere else that cost him an extra $100 out the door so as to not have to deal with them, almost 5 hours between DROS and pickup.

And, he had to drive back there another time because they didn't get his thumb print.

          As soon as they open.
Wait depends how busy they are.
          You don't need an appointment.
You need to pick a ticket.
Best time for me has been 45mins for DROS with 15min wait.
          So 1hr

I cannot comment directly on the Corona location, but I've bought firearms from both the Brentwood and Fairfield locations within the last couple months. Always got there a few minutes before they opened in the morning and has anywhere from nobody to a couple people waiting. Was always in and out of there in under 30 minutes. On pickup days I would get there maybe an hour after they opened and had a few people at the counter but no lines.

I commented on how quiet it it had been every time I had come in to start paperwork or for a pickup and he said that was because I always came in early. He said by lunchtime is when it starts getting busy.

Take everything I have written above with a grain of salt since neither of those locations are the Corona store, and none of my experiences involved a PPT. They were all new firearm purchases.

              Dont go during lunch times.

And yes I did tell her to stop and she gave me a stink eye. Probably fingered it some more when I wasn't there or something.

They had the same gun on display and instead of using the displayed gun, btch decides to use mine.

I literally just bought a gun via ppt there. It was without question the longest I've ever spent doing a ppt, and we got there when it opened.

                NEVER AGAIN !!

I have been their locations in other states as well.

Unsafe gun handling is the norm.

I reported an especially egregious example to a manager,

who calmly stated that the employee had already given 2 weeks notice so the problem was solved...

I did a dros awhile ago there it went real smooth. It seemed like most people were there to buy ammo. But I would still get there early
