    looking at 556 ak's

I'm looking at getting a 556 ak. I have a IWI ACE Gen-1 in 556 it is grate gun. Now I'm looking for an ak in 556, that looks like an AK. Yes I know the ACE is AK. With what is on the market right now. I have been looking at the. The Arsenal SAM5 5.56x45 AK47 Milled Rifle- SAM5-62 are in stock also the Zastava Arms M90 Rifle. Also been think of holding out for FB Radom - Beryl Rifle - 5.56/.223 - *Restock ETA: October 2021* "from AOA".

I have 7.62 AK's several pars kits guns along side my Arsenal, FOX, Zastava, Krebs custom. Not new to AK world just new to the 556 aks.

If you have have an 556 ak drop a post let me know what you think. The good, bad, & ugly.

My coworker bought a Norinco .223 in the 80s and 100 mags.
Burried them in his backyard after Roberti Ross.
He is 15 years younger than me.
        I think AR 5.56
        AK 7.62
        I know AK 74...but
NATO rounds for NATO guns. Warsaw Pact rounds for Warsaw pact guns.
        9mm Makarov for Makarov, etc.

If that's what you're looking for I think a Polish Archer would be an excellent choice if you're looking for an AK pattern rifle in 556. I haven't seen one for sale in a long time, but the fit and finish is excellent. They are also quite accurate.

Bought a wasr3 and converted it to AR mags. It’s a pain in the a** to get perfect when adjusting the gas. Not all magwells are perfect. My buddy’s AK mags before my conversion wouldn’t fit but my 545 mag would.

my milled Arsenal - milled in 7.62x39 is grate. I have seen some bad Arsenal gun over the years. The one I have is GTG. I was at rifle gear doing at ppt. So i got to look at it before dropping the 2k on it . just would like to my hands one a sam5 just to look at it.

had my hands on the Zastava at a gun show in AZ awhile back. Hard to kick tires in CA some times.

My uncle has the Beryl Rifle some one Mac has on youtube. I would hope the new ones will have some some fit and finish

As was everyone else, i personally couldnt pick if i wanted a 556 or 7.62.
If you already own a AR in 556, why get an AK in the same round?
My SKS already shoots 7.62 fairly accurate at 100 yards so getting another
would not make sense. But Saiga's sure look nice.

I suppose it's for people that don't want to add another caliber to buy and just consolidate to maybe 2 or 3 calibers. That perhaps save money as well depending on what you shoot.
History doesn't repeat itself but it rhymes

You and I are on the same train as i have been looking at 556 ak for past 2 days. 1 thing i found out is the Polish Beryl only take polish mags. The Zastava accepts a much wider range of mags

Limited optical options kills the deal for me.
