I don't care if it is a " hedge fund driving the decision", I am glad that S&W is leaving that sh*t hole and taking their tax revenues with them. I only wish they would take their entire manufacturing operation with them. The thing that the libtards need more than anything else is tax money so they can continue to buy the votes of the ignorant and greedy. Taking that away from them is one way to hurt them where it counts.

Most of the old time firearms companies started their businesses in the north east because that is where the manufacturing base was located in the 1800's. Nowadays they can make their products nearly anywhere and moving to an area where the cost of living is significantly lower helps their workers by making things like housing easier to afford.

I initially struggled with the decision, but since the influx of retarded Commiefornia dumbocraps seems to have irrevocably turned Nevada blue, I have decided to leave my house here in Reno to my son and am moving to Tennessee myself. I bought a piece of property outside Savannah where I'm planning on building a new home. Tennessee is a drop dead beautiful place, the people are friendly and the cost of living is much lower than in dumbocrap run paradises like Commiefornia, Taxachusetts (or even Nevada).

Kudos to S&W for making the move.

They're still keeping it; last article I read stated they were moving production of their semi-automatic rifles and handguns out to Tennessee, but revolver production would stay in Massachusetts, so I don't think we'll see the end to the "Hilary Hole" in the foreseeable future.

After there new factory is built and production is making money it will make moving whatever remains in Mass. a much simpler job. You can bet they will put together a plan to move everything if it becomes necessary.
