    its a 50

The devastating rifle Gepard GM6 Lynx has been likened to a howitzer cannon
    Made in Hungary,
Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT
    (thanks to Jeff Cooper)

A quote from Paul Koretz, eh?

No doubt he also warned the muzzle flash blinds children from 900 feet away, the deafening blast kills all kittens within a proximity of 1000 yards, the recoil can sever a man's spine who just happens to be shooting 4 benches away, and can transmit SARS-CoV2 just by thinking about it.

Clearly the Daily Mail writers are not very well informed about military hardware and capabilities. This is nothing more than a Eastern Euro copy of a semi auto Barrett 50.

US .50 HEIAP ammo out or the M211 of a Barrett does exactly the same missions the magical mission this Hungarian rifle does.

"Cartridge, caliber .50, high-explosive incendiary armor-piercing (HEIAP), Mk 211 Mod 0 A "combined effects" cartridge, the Raufoss Mk 211 Mod 0 HEIAP cartridge contains a .30 caliber tungsten penetrator, zirconium powder, and Composition A explosive. It can be used in any .50 caliber weapon in the US inventory with the exception of the M85 machine gun. The cartridge is identified by a green tip with a gray ring."

It seems they figure it sounds "more tactically military" if they use a bunch of acronyms and esoteric particulate references to describe elements that have been common for more than 70 years.
