    Delta point micro

    Any body has one.?
The DeltaPoint Micro is fast on target, extremely accurate, and built Leupold® tough. But it’s the low-profile, concealable design that really makes it stand out from the competition. Mounted at the same height as factory iron sights, the DeltaPoint Micro aligns the red dot with the front sight, making target acquisition fast and intuitive and improving your accuracy, all while maintaining a compact profile. (Does not fit Rimfire Glock and M&P models, Glock MOS, Smith and Wesson M&P CORE, Smith and Wesson Shield EZ, nor Smith and Wesson M&P 5.7 models).

no and when they released it, i thought it was a joke. you rear sight on a glock can shift and these guys think a large object attached to this groove will stay put? i wouldnt waste 400 on one. get a used DPP and get your slide milled for a bit more money.

InRange TV on ewetoob has also looked at it and seems to like it. I think it’s a bit of a small aperture for a red dot but have not seen one first hand so my opinion is worth nothing.

Have one and put it on my Glock.

One thing I don't like is that I need to remove its battery cover, in order to (clear the space to) remove the Glock slide for cleaning. No big deal... However, if I ever need to disassemble my Glock slide , I would need to remove the DeltaPoint Micro in order to remove the Glock Slide Cover Plate (because the DeltaPoint Micro is blocking the Slide Cover Plate.) And after that, I would need to reinstall the DeltaPoint Micro, and re-zero it.

There was a thread in the optics section on these. A CGr got one and it broke. YMMV

That was ME. Didnt even last 10-rounds of factory ammo.

Aside from that - I found in dry practice that due to the small window, narrow tubular design - unless you are already proficient with a red dot, it will only work against you.

Some will say it works more like “irons.” I would disagree - on the Micro, you don’t have the peripheral visibility of the sights/dot until you are aligned with the target. Iron sights? You could see it throughout the presentation such that once it comes aligned on target, you are simply VERIFYING alignment (no more time aiming).

Another one - mount is flimsy! I don’t trust it… DeltaPoint need to go back to the drawing board.

              Just my take…
