Ammo, are manufacturers not willing to increase production??

Seems like Mfgs are producing the same as before but making much more money I think. No need for them to ramp up production as long as tons of money is flowing in it seems. Supply and demand. Good for the retailer, bad for the consumer.

If they're anything like my employer, they're holding off on putting new capital into place so when the downturn comes (and it will), they aren't stuck with a heavy period cost structure.

Bingo. Bubbles like this are bad as they create misalocation of resources.
