I've read several articles on this subject with Apple in the past week on various news oulet and investor oriented sites. And they already issue their I-phone with a Medical/Health app that utilizes much of what is being described. It won't be a stretch to implement.

A lot, if not ALL of these features, including camera, location, voice apps, face recognition, key-speed tracking, for all apps and 'Siri', can be turned off voluntarily in settings.

Just shut down all that crap - they don't need it and neither do you.

I am unable to shutdown those features on the 11 pro max. Fortunately this spy program is probably 2 or more years away.
I have put a nice tinfoil cover over the camera though . Yeah I know it probably will not do anything , except remind me to shop elsewhere for a phone or laptop.

I don't have an Iphone, but know the drill through access to corporate provisions, which we shut off everything and anything for the security of OUR clients - particularly because of Apple's controlling self-serve approach to their customers beyond simply providing a service.

They mine customers and treat their private info as their own tool for revenue stream. Like Facebook, but for phone/email/content rape.

I have never owned an Apple product, and I never will. I have a Nokia flip phone that does the job.

My PC and laptop have Win 10, and I keep as much "phone home" and privacy crap turned off as I can. I do not have a camera on my PC, and the one on my laptop is disabled, and covered with tape.

FWIW the only way to disable a smart phone is to remove the battery or let the battery die completely.
