New gun stuff out there - DSEI London

Last week I was at Defense and Security Equipment, International (DSEI) in London. Military equipment tradeshow. From tanks and helicopters to radios and all kinds of gear in between. But I caught some stuff thought would interest you all. Keep in mind this show is for governments and armies, so not the same as Shot Show. And up front, apologies for some bad pictures, the lighting isn't great for cellphone pics.
SIG had their new machinegun that's their new Army submission.

Lots of love for the FN SCAR. Want a SBR version? In .300 BLK?

Another FN toy, a CO2 powered, less-lethal repeater.

Some new things in Ammo. Tungsten cores, gonna get some good effects with these.

Some of you like wildcat cartridges. .375 Swiss P. It's the same case length and bolt head face as .338 Lapua (fits same mags). But the case is fatter for more powder.

Other stuff you want but you can't have.
      Kit out your Polaris.

They keep talking about mounting up a gun on a drone. These guys did it.

Now that you are terrified of shooting drones, you need something to bring it down.

There's all the rage in remote controlled weapons. Not just drones.
From inside a vehicle, don't need to stick your head out anymore.

This one hides in a shipping container to pop up (2 minutes from hidden to shooting).

This one of course drives around.

Why on earth is any country or Government scared or threatened by the average citizen having a pistol or even a long gun in their home for self defense with this kind of hardware available to them?
You'd think the usual gun-grabbing tyrants of the world would be laughing their butts off over the total disparity between what they have access to and anything we've got.

Didn't work very well for government in Vietnam or Afghanistan.

Seems to me that if you're taking fire, 2 minutes is an awful long time...

I fear this stuff is being built specifically for use on the average citizen. If the tyrants of the world are laughing, it's exactly because they know they've got the population totally outclassed.

because a single person with a small concealable weapon can do some incredible things, especially if they are willing to die for the cause.

I just want to say Thank You OP / sbo80 .

These are the type of gun-related threads that we have been missing.
Sure there's guns in the marketplace or someone has a problem with a firearm they need help with but new or interesting stuff that used to be a normal part of Calguns seems to have been replaced by covit and other Way off topic (of guns) types of threads.
Not that there's anything wrong with that, I guess.
But personally I would like to see more gun related threads return at some point.

( And I've tried to do my part by recently started a thread about Diamondback Firearms new/ yet-to-be-released cowboy style double action revolver.)

I think the idea was not so much hide until you get shot at, but more like you tow this container around and it only takes a couple minutes to set up once you figure out where you want it.

Great, load up a few "shipping containers" on semi trucks and you have an inconspicuous fleet of portable f you
