I had a P2000sk pistol. LEM V2 9mm. They are great guns. The trigger pull is long and much different than the Sig 365. If you are left handed, the HK has an ambi mag release and ambi slide release. I sold the P2000sk because learning that trigger was much different than the other triggers I was training with. P30sk baseplates work well on P2000sk mags. They add the extra finger groove that the standard p2000sk mag base plates lack.

They are both great guns. The HK was the best made polymer gun I had ever held. Its solid. I just couldn’t shoot it well and didn’t want to invest the time in learning something very different.

I have personally witnessed issues with the 365. I have never heard of an issue with the P2000sk. Mine ran flawlessly with all ammo.

I have the opportunity to pick up an HK P2000sk V2 (LEM). I won’t get to handle it till next week but have to decide then whether I want it or not. I’ve been doing some research online and people are pretty positive about it.

I’m curious if anyone has experience with both platforms and could comment. Or, if someone has experience with the HK in that configuration, I would appreciate some input as well.

I can’t imagine the HK replacing the Sig, but I wonder if having it as part of a rotation might be nice. Of course, the con would be different triggers, one has a safety while the other doesn’t, etc.
I run my P365 in the "Commander" configuration too. It works great.

The HK P2000 is a good gun, but it may annoy you. The extended slide release makes it very easy to accidentally hit. I am left handed and never had to deal with it until I bought my first HK. I much prefer the HK P30 SK, but I still need to be careful about the slide release.

Honestly, if I were you, I'd try to acquire another P365.

I ended up passing on the HK after handing it. Like someone said above, I’d rather pony up for another P365(X/XL) as a backup. Now that my Black Arch holster arrived I can’t imagine carrying anything fatter or heavier.

            I appreciate all the input!
