Traveling to Florida in August and I have a question about ammo.

Like I said, Im flying to Orlando Florida at the end of August to visit a friend and I was wondering if anyone knew what the ammo situation was like in Florida. Does anyone know if ammo is more available and cheaper out there right now? I was thinking about buying some ammo and either shipping it to myself or just bringing it with me on the plane. I would check it in of course. Any help?

Just talked with a guy from florida and he said he cant find any ammo there. He is down to one box of .38's.
I am on the road traveling and I did find ammo in Kentucky, they only sell you a box or two and the price is high, but they had lots.
