It was a gun show. I was there from 0730 till 1700 so i'm pooped.

    What were you looking for?

BTW, Sorersen440, Vladbutsky, Ivanimal, B.Weiss, Wildhawker and the lovely Mrs. Wildhawker, hellraiser, and B.strong with the black beauty, thanks for showing up! I'll look forward to hanging out again.

Like a good soldier, i'll be at the show manning the booth......Back to the FRONT!
There are 3 kinds of people in this world.
The wise, learn from the mistakes of others.
The smart, learn from their own mistakes.
The others, well......they just never learn.

I was there. It was way smaller than last time I was there.

Bought some 1911 chit, Wilson mags, and Remington .45 JHP

Nice to meet some of the CalGuns folk, too.

        Keep up the good work.

        Regards

I assume WC 47D? How much if I may ask, if they are indeed the 47D.

Was it crowded, will there be anything good left if I go tomorrow?

47Ds were $32. Not a suoer deal, but passable.

They were there and now they are in my safe.

            Wasn't crowded at all.

You might find something interesting, who knows?

I had a great time meeting all the Calgunners that came by the booth, and couldn't keep the wallet in the pocket - a Rommy M44 followed me home.
The way some gunshop clerks spout off, you'd think that they invented gunpowder and the repeating rifle, and sat on the Supreme Court as well.

Well, as I mentioned elsewhere Policestate and I went in the early AM yesterday. Really glad that we did since the line just about doubled while we were waiting and was about the same length when we left.

There was quite a bit of ammo for sale for pretty reasonable prices overall. I managed to pickup 75 rounds w/ strippers 7.62x51 for $60, 9mm 115gr TMJ for $13/per 50, and .45 ACP for $18/per 50. Would have bought more but I was on a budget and providing that the ammo bill does not pass I'll be making this show my go-to place versus stops at Wal-Mart or Gunbroker.

In regards to reloading stuff there was very little available both for components and gear. What little primers and reloading supplies went within the first hour or so with only rifle and shotgun primers being left by the time we were done.

There were a LOT of AR's both complete and components there, quite a few C&R's such as Nagants and Garands, and practically no handguns with like maybe less than 10 by my count. Really found that to be odd that there was more rifles than anything else but this was my first time at the show so I'm not sure if that is normal or not.

Was kind of weirded out to see two PD wandering the isles of the show near constantly. Really not sure if they were security but they sure as hell did not look friendly and got the impression that they were looking for an excuse to bust someone.

Lastly stopped by the Calguns table, picked up a shirt, and made a small donation and I really wish I could have done more. Going to try and make a donation via the little raffle going on and maybe try my luck if I can convince the hubby to loosen up the wallet a bit more.

Was really nice meeting some fellow Calgunners at the show as well and wish I could have hung out and chatted more than just saying hello. Hope to change that going forward maybe at another show or at a range meet since it really is nice being around folks that enjoy a hobby as much as you do and do not think your some kind of "gun loon".

Bought 1k Remington 71/2 small rifle benchrest primers for $45+tax.

Best buy was 800 new Winchester unprimed S&W 40 cases for $80.

Seemed to be more ammo sellers than before and more black rifle stuff than before.

If you want to know where all the Wally*World ammo is there was a guy with a table selling it for pretty high prices.

Great to have a Calguns table there.

Just got back. While there I did meet up with some fellow CGs. It was great to get out there and be with my family.
