    Browsing through EAA catalogs

Browsing through EAA catalogs, I found quite a few interesting and unusual guns. Pity their site is so bad that you don't see them unless you download a PDF with the catalog, or get the printed catalog in your mail (which is how I discovered that).

Most of you probably know the Witness Elite series. The thing about Witnesses is how easy they are to convert from caliber to caliber (and without the issues you normally experience with caliber conversions). Wish the caliber conversion kits were cheaper... Anyone selling a 10mm Witness Elite match conversion for a reasonable price?

    Gold Team

    Stock

My favorite (since I own it) - Match

    Limited Pro

    Stock 2

Europeans use these same as 1911s for matches. One of the reasons they buy them is because of easy to install and reliable caliber conversions, so they can have one registered gun (it's Europe, remember?) in multiple calibers without sacrificing reliability or accuracy.

EAA makes excellent firearms at great prices! Can't wait for the CA Roster to fold; I want a Witness Elite Match 45 (along with a bunch of other ones)!

Now for the interesting (to me, at least) rifles they list in their catalog but not on their site for some reason:

          Baikal MP221 side-by-side rifle, comes in .30-06 and 45-70

Hmm, how did that get in there?

I have it in .40 (same thing, you just get a conversion kit for .45). Shot it for the second time this morning, which is what inspired this post

Baikal MP94 Centerfire (comes in .223/12GA, .30-06/12GA, 45-70/12GA. Yes, it's one of those centerfire/shotgun combos Europeans are so fond of (helps with the point system, too). There's also a rimfire one (.17HMR or .22lr or .22WMR coupled with .410):

Now, do you DROS them as a rifle or as a shotgun?
