    Hows this for gun rights

It would seen Minneapolis is very pro gun, even to the point of allowing one to fire into an unmarked van.
While I havn't verified this story or checked facts this does appear to be a place that appreciates cops taking gunfire.

"A Minneapolis man charged with attempted murder after firing at police officers during the George Floyd protest was acquitted of all charges after claiming he shot back in self defense.

Jaleel Stallings, 29, was acquitted on Wednesday of multiple charges stemming from a shooting last summer where he shot at the Minneapolis Police Department after they opened fire on him with rubber bullets"...

Way to go Jaleel, you showed them.sarc.

If he was a conservative, he would be on death row.

Since he's a lefty, no problem. Have a nice day.

Jaleel probably had other factors working in his favor. Likely a felon, and I'd bet the gun wasn't legally owned by him. He was also probably a gang member, and in the process of committing a felony.

All factors leftist run hell-holes seem to want in their citizenry.

Kinda playing warped devil's advocate... If police were wrongfully shooting at someone and that person decided to shoot back, I don't see why they ought to be punished for it.

But I doubt Minneapolis dropped the charges because they're just so libertarian there lol

AS PRESENTED in the article which I read several days ago. Which was much more informative and thorough. I concur that Stallings should walk on the charges. And "possibly" that the cops should face charges.

Because when the cops exited the UNMARKED WHITE VAN from which they shot him. And identified themselves. He immediately surrendered, at which time they cuffed him, and gave him a beat down. Check his booking photo.

There is undoubtedly more to this story, than we will likely ever know.

As to the future of LE in Minnesota. And all other DimRat controlled areas. Check the link below.

Don’t know all the details but if someone is shooting at me from an unmarked white van you better be damn sure I’ll be shooting back. But then again I wouldn’t be a a George Floyd protest either.

The footage, obtained by Stallings' attorney Eric Rice and published by the Reformer, shows the MPD SWAT team members tried to hide their identity as they patrolled the streets during the unrest, didn't warn people before they fired "less lethal" rounds at them, gave false and misleading statements about what happened and changed their stories when they were presented with other evidence.
With evidence such as that coming to light about lies and coverup. Just maybe the people of Minneapolis are right about their PD needing some major reforms.

And tends to support the jury decision to acquit.

Too bad those cops did not use rubber bullets on the pathic press that lied George Floyd into an innocent hero.
That said police reform should begin with the Fed Cops, who always get a pass and that does not excuse what you pointed out in Minnesota. Good catch !
