Absolutely because he will have magic powers to override the State Legislators who passed those laws.

Highly unlikely. At best he'll be able to veto gun bills passed through the house and senate by a Democratic majority and force them to get a supermajority vote to overcome a veto.

Frankly I'll consider it tantamount to a miracle if the CA legislature actually starts passing bills that repealed current CA gun control laws, considering the only way they've been successfully challenged for decades has been through the courts.

It's fun to dream but replacing the governor does not replace the legislature.
Only the legislature has the power to remove all the ridiculous gun laws.

He can only sign/veto what comes across his desk. A veto would be useless because the commiecrats have a super majority in the senate and assembly and can easily over ride any veto. He will be a lame duck from day one but will be able to use his bully pulpit to point out what's wrong with CA and his vision to fix it.
