Went to Oaktree to put ad on board for reloading sale. Very few people no more than a couple people on any field. Stopped at shop to see what they had lots of longuns and some m[new and used handguns.

Other then skeet shooting, Oaktree falls short in other areas. Poorly maintained pistol steel gallery, short 100 yrs rifle side, and badly run check in and check out process. No thanks.. -

I have been shooting there for almost 50years and have never been on rifle or pistol range. Do not go there if they disturbed your karma with some pistol. More room for me. Used to be great place to meet buddies shoot some skeet and have breakfast.Comment

Holiday weekend, ammo shortage, too hot, and more than a few people aren't happy about Armatix or the recently increased prices at that range.
Some people would go there if Lucifer was the owner as long as the convenience and pricing and amenities are to their liking. I'd rather not shoot than go there.Comment

Was at Angles range (about 20 mins away from Oak Tree) on a weekday and there were plenty of people.
So it isn't all due to ammo shortage. Likely a combination of factors...fee increase, poor pistol and rifle facility maintenance, and inefficient check in/check out processComment
