    Anyone have experience with Frontsight?

New gun owner here. Got my first guns and a membership with Frontsight last summer after my buddy and a Navy vet recommended them. The membership included some goodies like a knife and electronic hearing protection which I received within weeks but there was also 9mm FMK 9C1 2A Edition which it was explained I'd have to wait for because it was up to the manufacturer to send it and they don't have control over that.

However that was last July so it's been over a year. I did email them about it months ago but it was just explained to me again that it's not in their control. Given all the craziness going on in the country the past year I can understand there could be some serious delays but dang man. I'm at the point of going out and getting a different 9mm.

Anyone else had this issue with them? Should I keep waiting? Or go buy my own and sell the FMK if it ever shows up?

Front sight comes through with the bonus items but they tend to be real slow. Really would not be too excited over the fmk. I would say schedule a class and get some training in.

The membership I bought came with a shotgun. Probably took 4-5 months, but this was 6 years ago. Pistols in general are in really short supply right now. And it’s a special edition FS only gun, so it might be even slower. Buy something for now and when it shows up you’ll have 2 guns. Nothing wrong with that!

Welcome. Wait on the FS gear. Go take classes there and use your membership.

Frontsight is about the training not their gear.

          That said you can:

          - wait for their pistol and if needed do a rental from them during your training class

          - purchase something you like - that fits your hand - that speaks to you - that fits your price range. If and when the FS pistol comes in, you have the choice from two and a reason to go back again to FS - win/win
