    What isn't "a little high"?

What used to be the price that everyone was happy with? I ask because I am just now getting into 7.62 Russian calibers and I'd like to know what the average going rate v.s. a good deal is.

As it stands right now, $259 seems like a steal, but that's because I don't know pre-Obama prices...

    Thanks,
    Jason

I payed $209/1000 about a week before the election. Just for reference.

Wolf sent some 9mm and .45 ACP with this shipment to AIM, but it was gone pretty quick.

Seems like just a few years ago I remember seeing it for 100$/1000 >10 years ago it was below 100$ for 1000. Im expecting the price to drop back to at least Pre-election prices.

Well guys, when I was in high school I paid $0.35 for a gallon of gas. Now that being said I really don't think the price of ammo is going to come back down and either is gas. Just my 2 cents.

Gas will never be $0.35 again, but it definately is way off its highs of close to 5$ of last summer. Its a bubble.

As far as ammo goes prices were driven up by the panic, inflation, and increased cost of materials. Inflation will not get better but the panic will, so thats why I hypothesize prices back down to pre-election levels.

Today that's a great price! I was at the Vegas gun show last weekend and it was $279.95. Add to that your admission fee of $14, plus tax, and... you get the picture.

Have ammo prices ever significantly gone down over time? (I didn't pay attention to anything before the election...)
