After a week delay, I got an reply from Savage arms and the email is from zendesk.com. I am aware this is a customer service solution company, but is the person I am corresponding with an actual savage arms employee or did C/S also get outsourced?

Also, the email reply was written in a way that makes me think this person has no working knowledge of firearms. And the person asked for my rifle's serial # (which was included in my original C/S request to savage).
Not gonna reply until I find out more... -
I haven't had to deal with many cs, lately only RCBS and Christensen and they've always been human employees from the US. Sign of the times, when one company sells out to make profit the others have to follow.Comment

Thanks..I just find it odd the way the reply was written.
Anyhow, while waiting a week for savage C/S to reply, some CGer pointed me towards a YouTube video with the appropriate remedy....factory screws are too short....Comment
