ask them about no credit card charge till they ship product to avoid 'insanity-due-to-long-wait' syndrome.

Ordered from LMT two weeks ago...ETA is May 2010. Other than the wait time, not too bad.

I've had vendor horror stories like trying to cancel an order and get a refund because they charged me when the order was placed and not when the merchandise shipped.

Ordered a nice fluted/stainless barrel in .204 ruger from Brownels last September, finally showed up a couple of weeks ago. The nice thing is they do not charge shipping on back ordered items plus I was charged the price that was on it when I ordered.

How about my serbu 50A that is still non existent. Bought before the 50 ban and still the guy is stringing people along and I am stuck with a 500 dollar paper weight.

I ordered ammo and got the backorder e mail. No biggie, get a few more e mails and a charge comes up so I check my e mail and nothing. I call the place and they tell me my 556 is on the way. OK I tell them to cancel to other half 1K of 7.62X39.

3 weeks later i'm missing $$ in my account, I check my e mail and my backorderd ammo that was canceled has been shipped

I even called to cancel the order and was told i'm GTG.

I ordered a Springfield 1911 from budsgunshop.com on May 9 - it's part of their new 'reserve' ordering system. Must pay for it starting now, but they will give 100% money back if it doesn't ship within 90 days.

Anyone else try the reserve system on Bud's?

Ordered from Del-Ton a Carbine AR non discrept except for the lite barrel 12/7/08.

Last week went to there website to see WTFWH, Barrel on back order.

Called them, said I could change to a heavy barrel and have it shipped now.

I told them no big deal I'll wait for the barrel but wanted to change the configuration. Railed forearm and a colapsible stock. They told me all I could change was the barrel.

Wrong answer..........Canceled the order!!

Ordered a Knoxx Industries SpecOps stock for my Mossberg 500 from The Gun Source for $74. It was on backorder. I got monthly emails to tell me the order was processed and was backordered. In the meantime the price goes up by another $24 to $98. After 8 months, I contact TGS and the promptly send me an email to say the order was cancelled.
I contacted them to ask why? Never got a reply. My guess is so they wouldn't have to honor the $74 price. If I wanted one, I'd have to reorder at the $98 price.

I will never do business with those amateurs again.

I ordered a Del-ton rifle kit in Feb. The web site says 12-16 weeks, so I knew what to expect. I called in April just to see if it would arrive by chance before the early May Area 53 shoot. Nope.

They said they were working on Nov. orders and mine should be in June or early July at the latest. I called a couple of weeks ago and they said they were filling Dec.'s orders, but since they were catching up, mine should be sometime in July. I will call around the first of July and see what's up.

Has anyone ordered LPK's from Lanworld recently? I emailed them and was told the lead time is approximately 60-90 days and I was wondering how accurate that estimate is. Thanks.

Yea, part of my order is an LPK. I placed the order on 2/11. I emailed them in the end of March and they couldn't even give me a time estimate.
