    Shotgun question

Sorry if this has already been asked and answered.

I tried the search but didn't come up with what I wanted.

What restrictions has the "wonderful" state of California placed on Shotguns? Is there a "shotgun" roster like the handgun roster? Barrell length, length of stock, Folding stock? I'm not sure what is allowed.

    Thanks.

    1. Treat all guns as if loaded (even when you know they aren't).
    2. Never point the muzzle at anything you aren't willing to destroy.
    3. Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on target.
    4. Know your target and what is beyond it (avoid all collateral damage).

Depends on the type of action. Only semi autos have any type of restrictions from the state, outside of those previously deemed to be evil assault weapons. Of course barrel length is a federal matter and is 18" or longer.

On the top right of the organizer you will see the flowcharts for Semiauto (AW), Handguns, and Shotguns. Those should answer your questions

Read the flow chart and PC 30515. Done.
