    Cerakote Removal?

Hey all. I'm looking at possibly having some cerakote removed from a barrel and receiver. I ordered a Weatherby MK V Weathermark LT and i just cant stand the green stock on the tan cerakote. I'm thinking if I can have it removed, and then re-cerakote the receiver in black, and have a stainless or satin stainess finish on the barrel, I could avoid ordering a whole new gun.

    I'm in Stockton.

Any recommendations or suggestions would be appreciated.

I think you’d be better painting over it.

Waste of money. Either get a different gun, leave it alone or rattle can it. Since you seem picky I suggest a different gun.

JEC Arms is going do take care of it for $125. I'd never rattle can a MK V.

Good to know! I spoke to him yesterday. My gun is already at the shop waiting for him to pick up. Sounds like I'm in good hands.

125$ is actually a really good deal.

JEC did exactly what I asked. See image for before/after.

I agree. The 'after' is much more appealing.
