    Need Recommendation for TiN coating

I'm looking to get my 1911 officer slide refinished in a polished gold TiN, but having trouble finding the right place to do it. I'm trying to find a place somewhere around the $150 mark. I checked out Titanium Gun, but it looks like they can have up to a 10 week turnaround time, I'm going on a trip next month, need it faster. Smith Outfitters promise a 2-3 week turnaround, however their website says the price is $144, and they are telling me $255 though email, or $405 if I want 3 more small parts coated too, seem to be jerking me around on price. Anyone know of another option?

    PM this guy:

I believe he has/runs a shop that does TiN processing in the Los Angeles area.

Titanium gun did a barrel for me last month. Two weeks.

They have a barrel of mine right now, been about 5 weeks so far and it's still processing.

Last time I had a slide and barrel refinished it was $165 plus shipping for electroless nickel. Too bad that place (ccr) doesn’t do the color you want

I should mention that I dropped it off and later picked it up hot out of the oven.

              Looks pretty good.

Ah. Yeah, I live in the next town over from them, but figured shipping was easier. Was quoted 2-4 weeks, it's been 5 now.

Anyone else have any recommendations? I've contacted 3 other places and either get no response, or they only deal with businesses.

I had Doug Presson (DP Custom Works) do some slide cuts and melonite finish on a Glock slide and it came out really good. He offers TiN as well for $50, problem is he’s on the other side of the country in North Carolina. And I believe he does not do the refinishing in-house (but I may be wrong on that)..anyway may be worth contacting him.

                    Edit: TiN finish is $100

This includes Nickel, TiN (gold) and Rose. The first photo is Nickel. (Adds 2-3 weeks to the turnaround.)The second photo is TiN. (Adds 2-3 weeks to the turnaround.)The third photo is Rose. (Adds 2-3 weeks to the turnaround.)

Appreciate the replies everyone. Looks like a fellow member does what I'm looking for, and at the best price/turnaround time I've seen. Thanks to ar15barrels for the recommendation!
