    RIA Magazines

I was looking on their website and it directs to advancedtactical.com for purchase of factory mags. Is there another source for these or is this vendor GTG? I have had good luck with these ACT mags (zero failures) in mine and at $25 this looks like the best option.

I may have purchased from this site but it's been so long I don't remember. Seriously asking for a friend that has one in 10 day jail.

I tried some others a few years back and had issues. Promags went in the trash the first week and the base plate came apart on a Wilson Combat. I have 6 of these with zero problems. Will just be a range gun.

I converted my ria 1911 GI 8rds to an A1 and bought 2 mec-gar mags. Work great.

My RIA 1911 came with a single ACT mag and has been 100% reliable. Used it in a Kimber ultra cdp 2 with same results. Pinky rest.

I bought a dozen CMI 8 rd mags that have bumpers and are stainless. 100% on those too. Ball and HP ammo work the same.

*Chip McCormick mags still work great in that old Kimber. 7 rd stainless and flush fit.

I've used Wilson Combat mags (47D & ETM) in Springfields, Kimbers, Paras, Colt, Ed Browns, and Les Baers for years. They always have worked in all brands and size 1911s.
