2 different DROS at same time?

Can I ppt purchase a pistol right now? Is there an issues with having 2 dros at the same time?

ppt is exempt from 1 in 30

since you didn't specify if the rifle was semi auto centerfire or not, we can't say if it would have any bearing on any non-PPT DROS

I just started a dros at Riflegear. They asked me if I had drosed a handgun in the last 30 days and I said no. Then they asked if I had drosed a semi auto center-fired rifle since July 1st and I said no. EDITED: So now a semi auto center fired rifle or handgun you have drosed SINCE July 1st starts your 30 day calendar from a gun store.

You would need to pick up the rifle/receiver first and finish up the DROS - you can’t start a new one until the previous has completed. Then you have to decude if the receiver counts as a semiautomatic long gun - if not, you can then start your new handgun DROS. (At least this is my experience).

That's just not correct, specifically. Not "any gun". The "1 in 30" limit only applies to HANDGUNS or SEMI-AUTO CENTERFIRE dealer transfers. That's why they only asked about those two kinds of guns. PPT of anything - buy as frequently as you want. Shotguns, bolt guns, lever guns, rimfire long guns, buy as much as you want. Yes you can have a handgun in DROS, and do a DROS of any other non-applicable firearms the very next day. Or do 5 PPTs while your handgun is in 10-day hold if you want. Very little has actually changed. Now, you cannot overlap handguns and semi-autos, it's 1-in-30 for either, so if you bought a handgun you have to wait 30 to buy a semi auto rifle. The law says "apply for", so the 30 days should start counting from DROS application, not pickup at end of 10 day wait. I've admittedly not tested this, and seems some others (see above) think differently.

PPT is exempt of the 1:30 limit so you should not have a problem.

I have an 03/COE so I am exempt of all the various limits and have had 3 DROS going at once from 3 different dealers with no issues.

PPT is exempt so you should be able to PPT it today.
If it's a dealer pistol purchase, then you need to wait 30 days from when you started your last semi-auto rifle or pistol dealer purchase DROS before you can start a new pistol dealer purchase DROS.
