Which delivery service sucks the most?

Last year, same time, was expecting a signature required item. Waited all day, followed the truck around the map that went to my neighborhood 3x without stopping. Apparently they don't have a set route, just a zipcode. Didn't deliver, rescheduled for a different day...

This time a Christesen is coming back rebarreled and an accuracy guarantee/proof. I was skeptical it would arrive on time and was proven right. Now I have to make them hold it and get it in person at the warehouse so I don't wait around all day and ruined my plans to go shooting this weekend. Anyone else about to just not work with any company that uses UPS to deliver an item?

It used to be whatever Midway USA was using but I bought some dies from them last week and got them within 5 days so it's better.

They all possess the ability to suck equally.

FedEx ground is famous for showing a delivery scheduled and then not.

FedEx overnight will show delivered before due time but not and then it shows up later.

UPS breaks stuff like it's their job

USPS is unpredictable - I had an package from MT take 8 weeks including a detour to the ATL and back.

I would agree they all make mistakes. Amazon is famous for just leaving it where people can see. All other services tuck it behind one of my walls. I've been very lucky I have never had anything taken.

I usually don't care when it arrives but this being signature required, I had to be there. Then I started making plans for it so maybe it was my fault.

Never again, next time I'll just have them hold at the warehouse. Oops, for some reason, because it's a gun, they won't let me redirect to the warehouse....

Fed-ex sucks the most for me. I live on a Main Street and have big double doors. I have left a note on my door multiple times asking them to leave packages behind the pillars next to my porch. It never fails that they leave the packages right in the MIDDLE of my porch for everyone to see and steal

USPS. They often show a package delivered on their website and it doesn’t arrive until the next day

FedEx. Signature required doesn’t mean sh*t. I had a gun dropped off at my front steps It was only sent for gunsmithing work so no need to go through FFL. When I called to Karen, I was told they do that to avoid catching COVID from the recipients.

UPS. A heavy package from Sportsman Guide was partially opened. Someone along the route was wondering if it was ammo. It was steel targets.

Russia Post. The car parts (lol) I ordered arrived 3 months late.

                    None are perfect.

If you have a regular delivery person, a good relationship works wonders.

I had a great UPS driver for years up until recently. I heard he was injured and no longer in the field. Now it's hit and miss.

I've had the same postal carrier for close to 20 years and he has been very good also.

FedEx, mostly miss and more miss. Never see the same driver more than a couple of times. Must have a heck of a turnover. (All parcels are delivered as if they a soccer or footballs).

Smart post is the worst; where a one agency hands off to the postal sorting stations and re-routed. Even my mail carrier thinks Smart Post is poorly organized.
