    First time using electronic earmuffs.

I only lasted an hour with them. I like them in theory, but after an hour of listening to the guy two bays over go on and on and on to his buddies about how amazing he was, I went back to traditional plugs.

    Rant over.

Only use electronic when outside shooting or at my friends ranch, but at the range just my in ear since I can still talk to whoever is there with me.

I am just kinda half joking around. We were outside. The electronic earmuffs amplified the conversations going on around me. It was distracting for a nice relaxing day at the range.

There's always a dude like that. I have one at burro canyon always seems to be there when I am. Loves to go on to his guys about how great he is. Not to mention insider info on the ammo crisis and the whole cabal behind it. Downloaded all my Spotify playlists to drown him out. God bless Bluetooth ear pro

            Foamies + overear electric

Turn electric muffs volume off to block out the tards (or the guy with ar pistol with muzzle brake 1 lane over) and it’s super quiet

Volume control. It’s an amazing advancement in technology! Try it!

Yet another reason to avoid public ranges (or pretty much any public spaces).

I keep mine turned off unless someone is speaking to me.

I like foam plugs AND electronic, but with the volume up. Still able to hear voices near me, and super quiet when shooting.

I double up. Custom fitted plugs, then muffs over them. And I turn on the muffs only if I'm listening to the timer or talking to someone. Kills the unwanted noise too.

Hearing loss is cumulative and protection is essential.
