That would be reserved for someone dumb enough to believe and publicly state they believe the corrupt, partisan, Anti Gun , Smelly, New York DA, Letcia James .

BTW since a few disloyal, easily led people believe Letcia James charge against President Trump and Wayne.

Do these same people believe the NRA is a terrorist organization as stated by Letica James ?

If you want to play, I'm not super happy about NRA and how they" fight" for the " common citizen". I am not enthusiastic about Wayne's cocktail lobbying life style. NRA needs to be more litigious then greasing the palms of swamp rino's.

I'm a current member who has paid my dues for 29 years.

I am a life benefactor member and am 100% pleased with the NRA since WLP has been EVP.

Do you honestly expect our CEO to dress like a slob? You want him in a cheap suit, or short pants, backwards ball cap ,etc?
Most shooters I know are affluent and do not engage in class warfare.
Of course there are exceptions where peoples lives have fallen far short of their once lofty expectations and they use this unwarranted attack on WLP to show displeasure with their lot in life.

BTW how does it feel to be called a terrorist by a New York DA ?

I agree. News about the NRA from the NY Times or Leticia James has no credibility. If given a chance, I would gladly shake hands with WLP.

I never had a chance to go to the NRA Convention. Maybe I should put that on my bucket list. The NRA had their convention at the Anaheim Convention Center sometime in the late 80's. That was the last one in CA. I was new to the hobby and took it for granted because guns and ammo were plentiful back then. 1989 opened my eyes and I joined shortly after the AWB was mentioned. I have no regrets being a member. Sure wish I went to the convention in Anaheim. I met WLP sometime in the early 90's at a book signing. Seemed very likeable and, yes, well dressed (LOL).

The "CEO" of the largest gun rights organization should be well dressed and have clout. I'm ok with WLP having some luxuries, doesn't need to go overboard. Just stop sending me so much junk in the mail! I'm a sure thing for renewal!

Unfortunately I cannot view that link and of course its possible for smart people to get tricked at some point during long career's.

The fact that all government schools, all Unions public/private, All big powerful TV, Newspapers, many big churches, every democrat state government, several billionaire's and the UN are all on record against RKBA.

It's a credit to the NRA that we have furthered gun rights in many area's .

Trapped are you one who believes Leticia James when she said the NRA is a terrorist organization ?

Well said and no time like the present to cross that off the bucket list ! I made my 1st in 2018 and then went again in 19. Plan on doing it yearly as the cities are fun, friendly and deserve a little reward for hosting us.

It's possible for people such as David Keene and John Lott to be 'tricked,' but it's impossible for LaPierre (and the Board) to do 'the wrong thing(s)' or, at least, do things which leave the organization vulnerable, whether deliberately or inadvertently?

                        Uh...???

You seem to be a very big fan on Pierre. I dont care about his dress. You are really caught up and keep repeating the "terrorist/NYSlimes and Letenequa", I give them as much time as I do other peoples dogs crapping on a lawn. Woop dee doo.... SanFransicko city council also proclaimed NRA a terrorist organization.....coming from mentally deranged folks...I dont care .

I do care about MY money going to a bloated organization who is caught up in the swamp of DC and " lobbying ". It appears your judgment is clouded. You have called me dumb and now a loser in life financially. Is that how the NRA 'a "benefactors " act? You are fitting the mold exactly..."most shooters I know are affluent ", got it us poor schmucks with black or tan rifles are hillbillies or fodder for the industrial war machine. I know the NRA had to be dragged kicking and screaming to defund the black rifle crowd. Tough to strain your necks looking down from the TrapShooting tower?

I'm still paying just my "poor financial destitute in baseball cap and shorts" dues...but the bulk of my effort is state and local. The DC swamp has drained our money and I'd rather see more lawsuits and youth outreach then cocktails at Monty's

What was dumb? Lots of schools have been doing the nonsensical remote graduations and the producers of those videos straight up lied to those men.

Which was my point; i.e., be careful who or what you call "dumb."

What I said is that we gotta be smarter than this. It's an educational moment. The NY lawsuit can be viewed similarly; i.e., as a potentially educational moment.

As I have said, all along, regardless of the right/wrong of the accusations, at the very least, they should serve as object lessons in how not to leave an organization such as the NRA vulnerable. Even LaPierre has acknowledged some 'wrong doing' in paying back the organization and admitting, in Court, that he was 'unaware' of some of his legal responsibilities.

Instead, what do we get? Blind loyalty, accusations of stupidity/heresy, and 3rd Grade playground banter...
