My wife's been in the staffing industry for 25 years. The feds have been paying people more to sit on the couch during covid than they would earn to go to work. Therefore, she can't fill job orders. The result . . . labor shortages across most industries. Manufacturing has been hit especially hard. Thus, shortages of everything, including ammo and firearms.

they can easily solve that problem by paying more.

and remember, unemployment doesn't give you health benefits, 401K, etc.

and also unemployment payments, most don't factor in the taxes that will have to be taken out.

so pay the matching amount + benefits and people will apply for work.
