Yup. I remember the first time I did a 20 round mag dump with my FAL at 50m. Two rounds made it on the cardboard, first one near the bottom where I started and second one near the top left.

Damn good thing my backstop was the side of a big hill. No, the FAL definitely isn't FA.

While I always enjoy watching ladies, shooting or not. I am personally not a fan of turning full auto guns over to novice/new shooters.
That said, remember when allowing someone to shoot a larger caliber for the first time .
always use 1 round !
