Recommendations for pistols with adjustable grips

    Hi everyone,

I have introduced several of my co-workers to the wonderful world of handguns. Several of the women are having trouble with pistol grip sizes.

Can I get some recommendations for pistols with adjustable side panels and back straps.

    I know Gen 4 and 5 Glocks have them. HK VP9, P30, HK 45, P200 (Backstrap only).

Please let me know what you would recommend for people that have short stubby fingers/small hands.

    Thanks!!!

    1. Treat all guns as if loaded (even when you know they aren't).
    2. Never point the muzzle at anything you aren't willing to destroy.
    3. Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on target.
    4. Know your target and what is beyond it (avoid all collateral damage).

M&Ps come with three different sized palm swell grips small, medium and large. Also the M&P Shield( dose not have interchangeable grip like regular M&Ps) is known for its slim grip, I had to put a grip sleeve on mine it was way too thin for me.
Im a warmonger baby, I got blood in my eyes and I'm looking at you.

Most everything that isn’t a polymer frame has removable grip panels.

What have they been trying to shoot that has been a problem?

To perhaps answer your question, I have seen ladies shoot Glock 19 or Glock 26 at Frontsight.

Perhaps your signature picture would go with a HK VP9sk.

I personally don't have small hands but like the versatility of the side and rear panels on the HK VP9.

            Easy. Problem solved.

Order the Walther, Sig or Colt models that come with non-adjustable panels and backstraps.
When your students need to adjust something have them adjust their shooting hand.

This method has been working for pistol shooting prior to the inner-webb so be careful.

My wife’s favorite gun to shoot in her 50’s was the S&W 500.

Get your girls the Sig P365. Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!

My girls fell in love instantly when they saw and held the P365.

Plus X type and non-X type.

It doesn't have an adjustable grip, but the Taurus G3 series has a very small grip even though it's double stack. So small that I might have trouble getting my trigger finger in there.

I have a wide hand and short fingers but not total sausages. I still consider myself a novice shooter but I feel I can work with the sub compacts now. My personal experience is that its good to go shoot a few guns and see what your hand likes. It's a cliche response but once you handle a few you will understand it.

I have a Kimber K6S- it’s a revolver, but the grip is perfect for me. I also have a Glock 19 and the grip is a little too big. I’m thinking of getting a MP Shield instead. The Sig 365 is incredibly small in my opinion- almost not enough to grip to get a good shot.

You can get grips reduced. I've had the work done on several Glocks.

Here's my gen3 G19 with grip reduced, along with other frame work.
