      Funny how people talk about how maglocking your AR is neutering it, and they would never consider that travesty to the rifle.
      Then they proceed to put a grip fin, pin the stock and replace the flash hider for thread protectors, just so they can have std cap and release mags
      So to answer the OP, I would throw the maglock in the bin ASAP
      Depends how important standard mag releases and standard cap mags are to you. Also, grip fins are old news. All the cool kids on the block are rocking Sparrow and Resurgent grips these days. Magpul stocks (the most common AR stocks these days) can be pinned in seconds with a paperclip. It's not permanent, and the stock can be readjusted as often as needed.

          Firearms malfunction nor does one have a endless supply of ammo or someone loading magazines. Just one more tool if needed.
