It's up to Joe Manchin of WV assuming the 50 Republican senators don't vote to confirm. One would think some of the Democrat senators in states such as MT, AZ or GA that might vote not to confirm, but I'm not aware of their 2A stances, and they have so far fell in line with other Democrats on other votes that I am aware of (Kavanagh and Impeachment for example).

Chipman is a top policy advisor for the Gifford's anti-gun group. There's a serious conflict of interest here that I hope the senate dems sees...but I doubt they will.
